CINDER VEIN focuses on hand-finished surfaces. Its pieces on GRIME STATE include two wax-coated denim jackets, one hand-abraded with a back zipper and one with a brushed gradient coating and sand-washed finish; a 12 oz cotton denim cap with nine rows of rivets across the bill; washed, crinkled and paint-splattered tees; and a crocodile-embossed leather belt with cast zinc-alloy beast-skull buckles. Several finishes are applied by hand, so individual pieces vary slightly, and the wax-coated jackets should not be machine washed. Prices range from $59 to $275. It fits best in avant-apocalypse and post-apocalyptic clothing.
